Position Background:

Do you LOVE to create CLEAN spaces and take care of beautifully decorated places?

Flexible works hours generally from 11am to 4pm! Start right away! 

We are hiring 1-2 cleaners to clean Airbnb properties Friday to Monday, maintaining a clean, comfortable space for guests that feels like home!

You will be responsible for about 2-4 cleans each day Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon. Cleans will happen between 11am and 330pm Fri-Mon. Laundry and supply runs can be done on your own schedule. Between cleans and laundry, you should be getting around 15 hrs/week Fri-Mon (Add another weekday for more hours).

Our properties are a mix of studio and one bedroom apartments located in the area of Short North and Ohio State. All properties will be located in the same area if not the same building.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain 5-7 Airbnb 1beds/studios.
• Communicate effectively and frequently with operations manager.
• Keep the linens, towels, cleaning supplies, and amenities stocked.
• Take dirty linens home to launder.
• Report any property condition issues, damages, missing items, etc. to operations manager.
• Find that one hair between the sheets and remove it.

Requirements:

• Reliable access to a car so you can drive to properties.
• Available and reliable from 11am to 4pm on Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon.
• Prior cleaning experience (preferably hotel or residential).

You will be paid $15/hr for the cleaning which will include cleaning the units on a multiple times a week basis (as guests check in throughout the week). Basic cleaning supplies are provided for use if needed, but preferred to have your own as we only provide basic bleach cleaner, toilet cleaner, paper towels, windex, lysol disinfectant spray, and febreeze.

Each unit has bed sheets, towels, and facecloths that need to be replaced with clean ones. Toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and other general supplies/amenities need to be restocked as needed (we provide these). General cleaning & sanitizing of surfaces, sweeping, and vacuuming. Deep cleans are necessary once a month. Currently, each studio unit takes about 50-60min to turnover from our current cleaners (+ additional time to do laundry offsite).

Compensation:

The basic compensation is $15.00/hr with the likelihood of bonuses.
